Curiosity For Hands-On Experience

As Kirsten, the Founder and original Kaizen Ninja, pursued her Industrial & Systems Engineering degree from RIT, her most valuable learning came from one co-op rotation.

While at Pall Corporation, Kirsten got immediate hands-on experience partnering with operators and technicians to rapidly implement their process improvement ideas. She loved this empowering bottom-up approach & implemented over 30 impactful ideas in just a summer!

Then she had the opportunity to participate in multiple 5-day Kaizen Events that drove tremendous improvement on the production lines. This founded her belief in Lean Manufacturing and an understanding of the impactful transformation that can happen when key resources are aligned.

Igniting Her Passion

Kirsten grew her career under incredible leaders and honed her process improvement skills in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Capacity Modeling, Project Management, and Facilitation [just to name a few].

She initially specialized in process improvement in High-Volume Medical Manufacturing, building expertise that can only come from successful implementation in a tremendously competitive environment. After her multi-million dollar improvement implementations in Medical Manufacturing, Kirsten can confidently drive improvement in any environment! Kirsten expanded her expertise to many industries including: Naval Healthcare, Low-Volume Machine Manufacturing & Service.

While working at MarquipWardUnited, she not only won the H3 Award for her process improvement [She was able to drive an H3 Hummer for a week!!], but she also met her husband, Nick – he was her IT guy 😉 – and he has shared this journey with her for the past 15 years.

Experiencing Adventure

In 2019, Kirsten's family of 4 [along with their 3 big dogs] sold their home in SoCal and traveled the country for a year in an RV, exploring the incredible sites the US has to offer!

They visited 14 National Parks and countless other smaller parks. They experienced city life in NYC during the beautiful Christmas time excitement, they spent time throughout the most beautiful parts of our country, and they even enjoyed a side trip to England!

Toward the end of these travels, Kirsten's family spent a day in Greenville, SC and fell in love with it. Upon reaching their next destination in early March of 2020, travel throughout the world stopped so they chose to make Greenville their new home!

Activating Her Impact

This is when Kirsten launched her dream with her 1st consulting venture - KG CI Consulting in 2020. This evolved as she rebranded and launched Kaizen Ninja in 2023. Kirsten gravitated to consulting lifestyle as she realized the impact rapid impact she could make for companies around the country and internationally.

Now, through Kaizen Ninja, Kirsten leads high-impact facilitation and process improvement events and trainings that drive results and create a lasting and memorable impact on the employees who experience a new level of implementation and empowerment.

Internationally Recognized

As the Kaizen Ninja impact grows, Kirsten has been invited to speak at both regional and international conferences and venues. She absolutely loves giving back to the community and continuing the education and knowledge for those who are making a tremendous difference in their own organizations.

Kirsten fully plans to continue speaking internationally, publishing her expertise, and expanding her impact in the upcoming year!
